Things to do on Nusa Lembongan & Ceningan

Just off the coast of Bali are two tropical islands with pristine white-sand beaches. Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan are two popular but relatively quiet Bali islands that must be included on your itinerary. The two islands are linked by a yellow bridge, making it an ideal island getaway. Expect stunning coastal cliffs, fantastic beaches and beach clubs, snorkelling with Manta Rays, and so much more in Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan.

Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan are both small islands. Both can be explored on a motorcycle in under an hour. It does, however, provide a lengthy list of excellent activities to fill two or three days.

Explore the beaches of Nusa Lembongan.

Not all of Bali’s beautiful beaches can be found on the island’s main island. The Nusa Islands have a few soft white-sand beaches that are ideal for sunbathing. The stunning Mahana Point and Secret Beach can be found on Nusa Ceningan. Dream Beach, Mushroom Bay, Coconuts Beach, and Jungutbatu Beach are among the beaches on Lembongan.

Blue Lagoon Cliffs

On Nusa Ceningan, Blue Lagoon is a stunning viewpoint and cliff jumping location. The silky blue water is dangerous, and swimming near the coast is not advised. The viewpoint wraps around the cliff, and there is a small blowhole behind the bushes.

Mangrove Boat Tour in Lembongan

Take a small boat or stand-up paddleboard through the mangrove forest on Nusa Lembongan’s north-east side. Enjoy the tranquil river ride, clear waters, and peace.

Lembongan surfing

For beginner and intermediate surfers, Lembongan has great year-round surfing. Spend the morning learning to surf at Coconuts Beach or going extreme at Ceningan’s Mahana Point.
Devil’s Tear – A Dangerous Nusa Lembongan Attraction

On the Lembongan Islands, witness the powerful waves crashing into the cliffsides. Devil’s Tear is an impressive, albeit potentially dangerous, blowhole where water can easily reach metres into the air. Please avoid getting too close to the edge.

View from Dreampoint

Dreampoint on Nusa Ceningan, located next to the hotel Twilight Huts Lembongan, is another excellent sunset location. The old tree and swing provide a good view, and during low tide, you can walk down to see the fisherman bringing in their catch of the day.
Snorkel or dive with manta rays.

There are well-known diving and snorkelling spots between Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida where you can see Manta Rays, Mola-Mola sunfish, and dolphins! Manta Point is a 20-minute boat ride from Nusa Lembongan. Prepare to be amazed by the size of these gentle giants as you dive into the water. Respect their surroundings and avoid touching them.
