Go island and beach hopping to enjoy the white beaches and turquoise waters of the island!
Given that White Beach is the center of the island, expect many people to be there; fortunately, however, there are other white sand beaches in Boracay that you can explore and are less packed.
Of course, White Beach holds that iconic splendor that you’ve seen in photos but if you’re looking for more tranquility, you can still achieve it in the rest of the island. You see, the great thing about Boracay is that there are a lot of other areas that you can go to, and they are equally picturesque as that of the prominent White Beach.
Participate in the island’s vibrant nightlife and events.

Actually, a large portion of the younger population adores Boracay’s nightlife scene! Indeed, when I was still in university, every vacation time (around March to April), many of my friends would recommend going to Boracay because that was also when the island’s bars and clubs would start to do themed parties (think foam party, neon party, etc. etc.).
Try out some of the water sports and activities!
Boracay can keep your attention for a long time due to the variety of activities available. Sure, it’s a small island, but it’s jam-packed with fun!
Aside from the island-hopping tour activity I mentioned in point #1, try the water activities listed below to make the most of your summer vacation.
Fly Fishing Adventure

If you want to have a wild ride with your friends, I highly recommend this! Basically, you’ll be riding this massive inflatable that resembles a ‘flying fish.’ It will be towed by a speedboat that will abuse its power and speed, and you must hold on (for dear life) as it attempts to spin you around at sea! You can even set a challenge among your friends, such as who will fall off the most!
If I may offer another piece of advice, let your competitiveness slip for a while, and then allow yourself to be thrown off the ‘fly fish.’ Why? Because it’s all part of the game!
Scuba Diving or Snorkeling

Boracay is not only beautiful above water, but it is also beautiful underwater! The shallow waters of White Beach do not provide much of a ‘view,’ but your snorkelling gear will come in handy on other beaches such as Ilig-Iligan and Tambisaan. (If you want a full-fledged snorkelling experience, go to Batangas or Palawan, which are also destinations in the Philippines.)
Marine Walk

This is an activity that lets you walk on the seabed as you wear a 30kg helmet to keep you down on the floor.
Mermaiding

A new ‘thing’ that appeared to have appeared recently… I haven’t tried it myself, but it appears to be led by the Philippine Mermaid Swimming Academy. What happens is that you will enrol in a’mermaid swimming’ class taught by a professional while wearing a stretchable fabric mermaid tail.
Zipline and Zorb

These are located in various parts of the island and are one of the newer activities that have recently gained popularity among tourists.
Take in the sunrise and sunset.

Anyone who has visited this island will tell you about the breathtaking and extraordinary sunsets on Boracay!
It’s a view that will forever be etched in your heart and mind; to this day, I can still picture the scenes in my head and they make me happy… with a tinge of melancholy (because I miss it so much!)
Feel free to watch the sunsets from any of the Boracay beaches (typically between 5 and 6 p.m.), but I highly recommend the view from White Beach because the silhouette of the passing boats (or paraws) by the horizon perfectly complements this spectacular display.
